Product Animation | Video Production | Social

INTRO

A health & wellness company that markets and distributes supplements, hired me to head up their new video department, creating video and animation assets for their many products on social media, in-lobby videos and for yearly convention events.

The objective was to develop animations for each product line into its own distinctive footprint, along with its look-and-feel. And to create complimentary promotional video assets to go along with each. With no Director of Marketing or any brand guidelines initially, it presented early challenges.

My direction began with getting a sense of the brand identity, company culture and auditing previous marketing collateral, taking note of what assets were lacking and needing re-purposing or elimination. Then organizing each product type into groups, working with the Print Director, crafting motion and animations that were on-brand and impactful.

KEY FEATURES

Working through establishing a creative direction without clear guidelines enabled me to create a plethora of digital and video assets, and bring them together in a more abstract and cohesive way, which may have limited me if I had to adhere to an already established design system.

The goal was to have the guest understand the product, digest its positive benefits, and when/where to purchase all in 15 to 20 seconds.

IMPACT AND RESULTS

The transformative approach to introducing video and motion into the promotional and marketing aspects of health and wellness products, reaped many benefits, of which, the creation of their You Tube channel, new paid ads strategy on social and Google and the hiring of a new Director of Marketing and team, all of which I was highly instrumental and responsible for initiating.
