The challenge was to create all the characters and story from scratch, as well as re-creating the 3D animation of the watch.
I developed a “quiet luxury” aesthetic — blending modern refinement with subtle retro influences. Golden hour lighting, dramatic architecture, and dignified character design conveyed themes of success and succession. Character consistency was achieved using Midjourney’s Omni-Reference and Style References, carefully tuned to maintain likeness across multiple shots.

The story follows a father, reflecting back on his life and career, celebrating a milestone in his son's professional and personal life.
The father’s look was developed by blending three reference images—one character-focused and two for style. I combined vintage and refined aesthetics to create a dignified, well-dressed character. Using the script as a guide, I quickly dialed in the style frames, refining each shot based on its narrative cues. The visuals of "golden hour, which casts a more dramatic, but majestic tone, is symbolic of the end of one era and the birth of a new one. The style is quiet luxury, achievement, & success.




Generating consistent characters in MidJourney v7 was an achievement, but in later platforms like Sora, that feature was more user-friendly.
I refined character design through precise AI controls, built script-driven style frames, and combined cinematic camera work with custom 3D elements to create a cohesive, emotionally resonant visual narrative. A polished short that merges AI-generated visuals, animation, and traditional 3D workflows — demonstrating how emerging tools can tell emotionally resonant stories with cinematic polish.
