Dan-O's Experiment
An experiment in revising the promotional and marketing collateral of Dan-O's Seasoning. A successful brand with multiple product offerings.

The challenge was to give each product it's own personality and vibe. I wanted to expand on the colors and ingredients to build the look around each.
Taking cues from Dan-O's current social media channel content, I began to experiment with how to refine and improve the social layout on instagram and TikTok with more contextual, impactful visuals to bring more viewers into the Dan-O's experience. Giving each product space and flexibility around its respective theme was instrumental in how the tone was developed and created to be more visually impactful for viewers.

Identifying the needs of the brand where most impact could be measured was selected and re-calibrated to fit the updated look and feel.
From food products to clothing and accessories, Dan-O's offers many choices for several different scenarios, from fashion to cuisine. Crafting the look and feel with more human interaction was my first step in establishing a connection between the product and the consumer. I felt the clothing imagery could use a bit of a boost, instead of just plain layouts with plain backgrounds, the choice was made put the clothing onto models in action, to boost on-screen time and encourage more sales with more relevant images.




Dan-O's has a considerable social media following across platforms. The next choice was to take a second look at the video posts and to give them a visual makeover, introducing motion graphics, transitions and audio into the workflow.
Noticing the strengths of Dan-O’s with content on their social channels, I had the idea to create a ongoing video recipe series, re-imagined with more cooler GFX and look that could be used as a repository for visitors to access at their leisure, creating a new marketing channel for users and a new revenue stream for the brand.
