INTRO
As a creative, there are many brands that I would like to create work for. I use these ideas to practice new, experimental designs and trending techniques on how I would interpret my creative sense onto their products.
I immerse myself into other artist's techniques and methods. I'm always interested to see how they arrived at their design decisions while tinkering around with the mechanics of their results. It really helps me develop my skillset as I grow into a more robust designer.
KEY OBJECTIVES
Using world-class brands with their already established rules and brand guidelines, gives me a lane to work in, while giving me room for flexibility as well. It teaches me to respect standards, but also how to recognize when to use the latitude to make certain decisions and why, with respect to the brand identity.
KEY FEATURES
With the creative freedom to try different things, maintaining consistent brand messaging used to be a challenge for me, but working within these self-imposed frameworks, has given me structure and more dedication to my craft as a designer.
IMPACT & RESULTS
The impact has been significant, from learning how to improve my abilities and design sense while practicing on my passion projects, to learning cool techniques from very talented artists and creators.
They have helped improve my skills greatly to be more of an asset of a designer to any and every client and company that I work with.
